This fall, House of Shine is partnering with Latinos of Grapevine and the Navarro Group for a special Día de los Muertos experience rooted in remembrance, storytelling, and community.

As part of Echoes of Light, the House of Shine backyard will be transformed into an ofrenda honoring the lives and legacies of people whose light continues to shine through the stories, traditions, and people they left behind.

We’re inviting our community to nominate individuals to be remembered as part of the experience.

Step into a vibrant, immersive Día de los Muertos celebration in the outdoor backyard space at House of Shine! From the moment you arrive, you’ll be swept up in a journey of honor, art, and remembrance under a soaring, colorful canopy of papel picado and warm flickering lights.

As you wander through the freestanding art gallery, you’ll discover the story behind our Shine Legacy Altar, culminating in the heart of the experience, hundreds of community-submitted photos, flickering candles, and vibrant marigolds. Before you leave, pause at our gratitude station to pick up a keepsake gift and reflect on the lasting light of those who came before us.

Please note: The building interior serves exclusively as our VIP Welcome area, while the full immersive experience awaits you just outside in the backyard.
