Imagine the energy of Shark Tank, but with a purpose rooted in community impact—Change Bowl is about more than ideas; it’s about action. By providing mentorship, resources, and support, this movement empowers young changemakers to grow their confidence, leadership skills, and ability to create meaningful, lasting change in North Texas.

4th Annual Change Bowl Event & Reception
On April 11, 2026, young visionaries of North Texas will gather in Grapevine to present bold, community-centered ideas at the 4th Annual Change Bowl. This year’s theme—Sky’s the Limit—honors the belief that any idea, when supported with guidance, resources, and opportunity, can rise into something extraordinary. Change Bowl exists to nurture these sparks of imagination and help students transform them into tangible, meaningful impact.
Following the pitches, the celebration continues with a 12:00–1:00 PM reception at House of Shine, where the theme comes to life through food, conversation, and interactive activities centered on growth, transformation, and collective impact. During this time, judges will finalize their deliberations and determine each project’s funding award.
The event concludes with the much-anticipated funding announcements, as students receive checks to bring their ideas to life—and take the next step in elevating their schools and communities.

A handcrafted bowl created by a local community member, the Change Bowl symbolizes a commitment to positive change. Purchase a bowl at House of Shine, or participate in a Seize The Clay Workshop to create your own, collect spare change over time, and bring it back to help fund young innovators participating in the Change Bowl. Your small contributions add up to big opportunities for the next generation of changemakers.
Make a Direct Donation
Support young visionaries by making a direct donation to the Changemaker Fund, which helps bring innovative ideas to life. Every contribution provides resources, mentorship, and funding for students working to improve their schools and communities.
Sponsor the Event

While the funds raised by our community go directly to the Changemaker Fund, sponsorships help scover event logistics, venue costs, printing materials, decorations, and food.
Be a Judge or Mentor
Change Bowl relies on judges to ask insightful questions and help determine funding allocations, but the journey doesn’t end there. Mentors are also needed to guide changemakers beyond the event, helping them refine and implement their projects.
