Field Trips
One Intentional Experience. A Lifetime of Impact.
Our customized, experiential Field Trips offer students ages 5-18 the opportunity to discover their SHINE– the Strengths, Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, Needs and Experiences that make each of us unique– through an interactive learning session, creative activity, group discussion, and a safe and fun space to share who they are and why that matters. Self-awareness is vital to a students’ personal and educational growth, yet it is not consistently taught in traditional school settings. Our goal, then, is to increase self-awareness, develop reflection skills, and teach students how through their SHINE they can best contribute to their communities.
The result of this experience? More confident, self-aware students who are empowered to make thoughtful decisions, contribute meaningfully to their communities, see themselves as capable leaders, and SHINE, both in and out of the classroom.

What’s Included On A Field Trip?
We begin every field trip with a group tour of our interactive museum of self-discovery. After our tour, we will transition into an interactive SHINE learning session with our SHINE Worksheet and participate in group discussions and hands-on activities. “Many of our campers shared how much they loved the hands-on activities, especially making the tokens, the colorful pom-poms, and working through the SHINE worksheet that helped them explore how their Strengths, Hobbies, Interests, Needs, and Experiences shape who they are. They left feeling proud, seen, and excited about what makes them unique.
It was so powerful to see the contrast between this visit and more traditional outings like swimming or bowling, this trip gave them something deeper. It sparked self-reflection and confidence, and you could truly see the difference it made.”
